Helene boasts over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, coupled with a Masters of Art and Teaching in applied linguistics and higher education. Aligned with her commitment as a mental health advocate, she supports the 5 C’s of mental health: Commitment, Communication, Concentration, Control, and Confidence, evident in every facet of her career.

In her early professional life, Helene excelled as the lead executive sales associate and merchandiser at Arrow Men’s Shirts, servicing the New York metropolitan vicinity. She continued her trajectory at Warnaco Corporation, a division of Chaps and Christian Dior, negotiating and communicating skillfully with clients, cultivating meaningful relationships with corporate executives and buyers, surpassing personal and professional expectations in sales.

Transitioning to roles as the director of an international graduate program at Stevens Institute of Technology and an ESL teacher at Green Brook Township Schools, Helene continued to employ her drive and focus, enlightening students and strengthening their communication and problem-solving skills both in and out of the classroom.

In 2020, she launched the Coming From The Heart Podcast, an inspirational platform addressing mental health, mindfulness, and overcoming challenges. Helene’s tenacity and strength to forge ahead, even in the face of adversity, allowed her to diversify and take on various roles, from social media and sales to marketing and promotion.

Recognizing the significance of effective communication skills, Helene actively advised and supported engineering graduate students as the director of an International Graduate English Language Communication program at Stevens Institute of Technology. This comprehensive approach extended to writing recommendation letters, guiding students through intricate processes, and offering career counseling, ensuring they were well-prepared for success in academic pursuits.

Helene’s impact expanded to assisting individuals in securing positions with renowned technical companies, including Uber, Google, Apple, and Tesla. Her tenacity and unique ability to reshape personal stories became her “secret sauce” in guiding others through the competitive job market.
